My name is Torey. I love to read and I love to tell people about what I read. I have no formal training in writing and English was my worst subject in school. I am very opinionated and I think that will be my qualification to write this blog about books.
It's just me and my cat most of the time at home so I read a lot. I hate my job so I read most the time I'm there too. I love my Nook because I can make the words really big and read while I'm on the treadmill at the gym. To sum it up, I am a lonely cat lady who has a terrible job but at least I'm in shape.
I'm not very picky when it comes to books. You really can't be when you're broke. For a while, I would go to GoodWill and pick out the $1.99 books. Then times got really hard and I was only reading the books that were free on my Nook. Thank goodness for Barnes & Noble's Free Fridays! My favorite kind of book is the one that leaves you thinking, "What the f*@# did I just read?!" Unfortunately, that is not a genre therefore, I go through a lot of duds looking for those books.
I am excited to share my thoughts about the books I read and meet some other bibliophiles along the way.
